Waterskiing, wakeboarding & parasailing

© SA Tourism© SA TourismIf you have a need for speed, you’ll just love being towed behind a powerful motorboat. Waterskiing has been around for ages and most people know how it’s done but wake boarding is pretty new. Same principle as waterskiing, really, except that you have one board instead of two skis. And the object of wakeboarding is to do as many radical manoeuvres as you possibly can. These do take a bit of skill. A rush requiring very little or no skill, though, is parasailing. Not to be confused with paragliding, which is flying off a mountain with a paraglider, parasailing is being towed behind a boat with a parachute. Not the most productive thing to do but, hey, it’s fun.
